Of the 549,892 officers who were assaulted from 2010 to 2019, 28.3% of the incidents happened between the times of 12:01 a.m. and 8 o’clock a.m., 25.7% occurred between the times of 8:01 a.m. and 4 o’clock p.m., and 45.6% of the incidents happened between 4:01 p.m. and midnight. Footnote: Time was not reported for 0.4% of all law enforcement officers assaulted.
