Gangs

They poison our streets with drugs, violence, and all manner of crime.

Thousands of violent street gangs, motorcycle gangs, and prison gangs are criminally active in the U.S. today. Many of these gangs—some with international ties—are sophisticated and well organized; all use violence to control neighborhoods and boost their illegal money-making activities, which include drug and gun trafficking, robbery, fraud, extortion, human trafficking, sex trafficking, and prostitution. The FBI focuses its efforts to disrupt and dismantle gangs on intelligence-driven investigations, effective initiatives, and domestic and international law enforcement partnerships.
