Arrests, Males, by Age, 2018

  • Adult males (age 18 and over) accounted for 93.2 percent of all males arrested in 2018. Adult males accounted for 90.2 percent of males arrested for violent crimes and 87.9 percent of males arrested for property crimes.
  • Of all males arrested in 2018, 17.1 percent were between the ages of 25 and 29.
  • Of males arrested for drug abuse violations, 94.6 percent were adults.
  • Male juveniles comprised 20.5 percent of arrests for robbery, 10.9 percent of arrests for larceny-theft, and 12.6 percent of arrests for violating liquor laws in 2018.
