Arrests, by Age, 2013

In 2013, 90.3 percent of all individuals arrested were adults (18 years of age and over). Adults comprised 88.9 percent of all persons arrested for violent crimes and 84.3 percent of persons arrested for property crimes.
Adults accounted for 92.2 percent of persons arrested for drug abuse violations.
In 2013, 35.0 percent of persons arrested for arson were juveniles. More than half of those juveniles (57.2 percent) were under age 15.
Persons between the ages of 25 and 29 accounted for 15.8 percent of all arrestees in 2013.
